MEXICO CITY—Mexico’s struggling economy bounced back in the third quarter after a decline in the previous three months, a recovery that suggests one of the world’s key emerging economies is surpassing a rough patch that had dimmed investor enthusiasm.
The government’s statistics institute said gross domestic product grew 0.8% seasonally adjusted from the second quarter, which translates into a 3.4% annualized rate of growth.
