U.K. Can Afford Above-Inflation Rise in Minimum Wage: Osborne

LONDON—Britain can afford an above-inflation increase in the national minimum wage, Treasury chief George Osborne said Thursday in a sign of growing government confidence in the country’s economic recovery.
