MARSEILLE, France—A French court on Tuesday sentenced the founder of a company that made faulty breast implants to four years in prison and ordered him to pay €75,000 ($103,050), following one of the largest trials in France’s judicial history.
The criminal court, in the southern French city of Marseille, ruled Jean-Claude Mas, who headed the now defunct Poly Implant Prothèse, was guilty of aggravated fraud.
