Estonia’s Prime Minister Andrus Ansip Sunday made good on a 2012 promise to resign in time to allow a successor to build support ahead of elections next year.
Mr. Ansip said in a speech he will offer his resignation to the president March 4. He said the decision to resign was his own and he hadn’t been pressured to leave.
