Japan's Abe to Decide on Tax Increase In 2014

Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Sunday he will determine by the end of the year whether to raise the nation’s sales-tax rate to 10%.
“I will make that decision this year, after checking economic data covering the coming July-September period,” Mr. Abe said in an interview with the national broadcaster NHK.
