Brazil Collected $8.6 Billion in Back Taxes

BRASILIA—Brazil’s government collected 20 billion Brazilian reais ($8.6 billion) in back taxes in November through its tax recovery program known as Refis, Federal Tax Secretary Carlos Alberto Barreto said Friday.
