France Says U.S. Shares Aim of Thwarting Iran's Nuclear Ambitions

PARIS—France and the U.S. share the goal of ensuring Iran abandons its nuclear military program, the French president’s office said on Wednesday, as it made public a phone call between François Hollande and U.S. President Barack Obama.
“The two heads of state have expressed their common determination to obtain from Iran all guarantees that it will permanently renounce its nuclear military program,” the office said.
