TOKYO—Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe appears to have won more freedom from voters to pursue the next phase of his ambitious growth agenda and a more muscular foreign policy, as his coalition was projected to have recorded a landslide election victory Sunday that could have repercussions for Japan’s economy, global financial markets and stability in East Asia for years to come.
