Japan's Abe Makes Final Pitch to Voters

TOKYO—Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe wrapped up an economy-centered campaign Saturday with shades of nationalist rhetoric, in a possible taste of things to come if his government cements its grip on power in Sunday’s election, as expected.
“We will protect Japanese lives as well as territorial land and water,” Mr. Abe said, firing up throngs of flag-waving crowds gathered in Akihabara, a Tokyo district known for both its electronics stores and its right-wing subculture.
“To build a proud nation, let’s revise our constitution,” Mr. Abe said, followed by shouts of “Yes” from his avid supporters.
